INSTALL AND START-UP OF MULTIPLASMA / UNINSTALL AND UPDATING To install the programs on your hard disk: 1) Download "MULTIPLASMA_setup.exe" from the F6CTE WEB site (http://f6cte.free.fr/multiplasma_english.htm). The links are: * "To download the last version of Multiplasma, click here" or * "Download Here". Afterwards click on "Run" (or "Execute") (rather that to store it). ATTENTION: the Windows firewall perhaps will block this file. You will have to unblock it. 2) During the execution: * the setup program (based on a "Inno Setup" script) will ask to confirm the detected language ("English"). The other proposed language is French, * by default, the user will confirm the proposed options, Note: your configuration files will not be modified, because they will be automatically created, only in case of absence. * if the installation directory yet exists, the setup program could ask confirmation of this directory. You will answer "Yes", except for a particular user need. Note: if you are installing the program for the first time, confirm "C:\MULTIPLASMA". If you are updating any previous version, give the yet used directory name. A link on MULTIPLASMA will be automatically created on the desktop as well as a "Multiplasma" group in the menu. Start the MULTIPLASMA program either with the "MULTIPLASMA" link or from the menu. The configuration window opens first. You must click the "Graph" button to access the main screen. The help file can be started from MULTIPLASMA or by double-clicking on the "Help_MULTIPLASMA.htm" file. Hints: many buttons have a hint which is obtained by remaining a fraction of second with the mouse pointed on the button. Multiplasma is designed for a Windows system. INSTALL SEVERAL MULTIPLASMA DIRECTORIES TO START SEVERAL MULTIPLASMA OCCURENCES MultiPlasma does not modify the Windows registers base (only the installer modifies the Windows registers base), so the initial installation directory (C:\Multiplasma normally) can be copied and manually installed (with Windows Explorer) on several other directories. Hence, several Multiplasma occurences, with different configurations, can be started. It can be expected that the maximum number of occurences must depend on the PC memory usage. MULTIPLASMA UNINSTALL The Multiplasma program can be uninstalled by selecting the "Programs and Features" window from the Windows "Control Panel": Open Start -> Control Panel -> Programs And Features Select the last version of Multiplasma on the list and uninstall it. Important: the uninstall will not delete the Multiplasma directory or the files created by Multiplasma and representing your own configuration. So a new install in the same directory will not be a problem. INSTALL OF A NEW VERSION OF MULTIPLASMA (UPDATING) Let's suppose that the Multiplasma program be installed on the directory "C:\Multiplasma" (by default), it will be enough to uninstall the previous Multiplasma version as indicated above and then to install the new version in the same directory ("C:\Multiplasma"). Note: if you are cautious or afraid to lose your configuration files ("in case of..."), it would be a good idea to back up (by copy/paste) the "C:\Multiplasma" directory somewhere in your hard disk, after the previous version uninstall but before the new version install. RECOMMENDATIONS: This program and all additional files may be freely copied and distributed, but in unmodified state. This program can be used for non-commercial purposes only. This program can’t be neither modified nor adapted or integrated in other products.
